Advanced Life Support (ALS2 Equivalent)
This blended Advanced Life Support (ALS) course delivers resuscitation theory and practical skills via case-based eLearning and face-to-face training.
The course complies with current ANZCOR and ILCOR resuscitation guidelines and is comparable to other industry resuscitation courses, including ALS 2. The clinical application of ALS skills is the focus of training through interactive simulations that include the use of cognitive aids and non-technical skills to support your learning.
Intermediate Life Support (ALS1 Equivalent)
The Intermediate Life Support (ILS) course provides education and hands-on training for all clinicians who may be first responders or team members in resuscitation attempts.
This course includes simulations in ALS, giving participants the opportunity to work as a team member, including the use of manual defibrillators, administration of ALS medications, and supporting the team leader in assessing and treating reversible causes to optimise post-resuscitation care. This course aligns with the Australian Resuscitation Council’s ALS1 course and is based on current resuscitation research, as well as ILCOR and ANZCOR guidelines.
