About This Course

This course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to develop an asthma management plan and provide first aid interventions for asthma-related emergencies in the workplace.

Course Details

Delivery Method:

This course is conducted face-to-face and includes pre-course learning.

Duration:

Minimum 1.5 hours of face-to-face training.

Prerequisites:

No formal prerequisites are required.

Participants should have basic English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills.

Training Requirements:

Includes theoretical instruction, practical exercises, and real-world scenarios.

Assessment:

Students must complete a knowledge test and practical assessments, demonstrating their ability to recognise and manage asthma in simulated situations.

Course Renewal:>

The statement of attainment is valid for three years.
